Insurance Plans
Top Optometrist

Dr. Emerson's optometry understands the concern of cost when choosing a vision care provider. We do not want cost to be your obstacle when maintaining proper eye health and good vision.

We accept various forms of payment and encourage you to discuss financing options you require prior to any examination.

INSURANCE PLANS

Please contact our office to determine if your insurance plan is accepted, as our provider list may have changed recently.

While most vision plans cover much of the basic vision-related costs, they do not always cover all costs associated with eye healthcare.

Plans often require a co-payment for an office visit and additional costs that are to be covered by the insured patient.

*If you have no vision plan coverage, you will find our practice charges very affordable eye exam and optometry rates. We are competitive to our San Antonio's optometry market.

Our staff works to share an understanding of your insurance coverage and answer questions about benefits.

Flexible & Health Spending Accounts

FSA's and HSA's are accepted.

Many employers offer Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. Designed to let you save money in an account, these pre-tax plans pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses and contacts. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program.

FSA's and HSA's can typically be used jointly with a vision insurance plan to offset out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
